Bio

I’m a librarian-turned-freelance book indexer and proofreader, and co-host of Marginally, a podcast about balancing writing and a day job. Born and raised in Texas, I have a BA in History from Rice University and an MS in Information Science (aka library science) from the University of Tennessee.

I was an early member of the book and culture website, Forever Young Adult, where I wrote for four years, and my writing has also appeared on the Kirkus Reviews blog and the feminist website, Quotabelle.

I’m currently querying my first book, and share my home — the 8th in 12 years — with my husband, 2 sons, an elderly dog, and lots of coffee, and am working on my next novel.
